R.J. LeBlanc
CWO LeBlanc was born in Geraldton, Ontario. He enrolled in the Canadian Forces as a Radio Operator in 1977 and completed Basic Training in Cornwallis Nova Scotia. After completion of basic and QL3 trades training he was posted to the 1st Canadian Signal Regiment in Kingston. After a short period he was posted to 4 CMBG HQ & Signal Squadron in Lahr Germany in 1978. On completion of his tour in Germany, he was posted in 1983 to 764 Communications Squadron in Ottawa, in 1984 he was promoted to MCpl and posted to the Canadian Airborne Regiment.
In 1986 CWO LeBlanc was posted to 427 Tactical Helicopter Squadron in Petawawa, where he completed a tour in El Gorah, Egypt. He was posted to 4 Service Battalion in Germany in 1989 as a Sgt. In 1992 he was posted to the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics, where he served in both Alpha and Bravo Squadrons. On promotion to MWO, in 1996, he was posted to the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment as Squadron Sergeant Major 4 Squadron, where he completed a tour in Bangue Central Africa, and in Port-au-Prince, Haïti. In 1999 he was posted to Trenton as the Training Coordinator with 70 Comm Gp HQ.
CWO LeBlanc was promoted to his current rank in 2001, and was posted to the Canadian Forces Crypto Support Unit as the Chief Inspector, in 2004, he was posted to the Canadian Forces Joint Support Group as the G6 Plans. In 2005 he was posted to Director Military Careers as the Career Manager for Signal Operators and Lineman. In 2007 he was appointed to his current position at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics as the School Chief Warrant Officer.
CWO LeBlanc and his wife Cindy have 2 children Jason, and Christina.
