NOTTINGHAM, William Joseph Major (Ret'd) CD Canadian Armed Forces NATO Peacefully on June 11, 2009 in the Palliative Care Unit, Ottawa Civic Hospital with family by his side. Beloved husband of Helen and the late Madelaine. Father of Nancy Novak (Keith) of Ajax, ON and Michael of Goulds, NL. Grandfather of Elizabeth, Victoria, Lori, Judy and Anthony. Great-grandfather of Michael. Dear step-Father of Kris Enns (Randy) of Edmonton, AB and David McCord (Kristen) of Ottawa. Step Grandfather of Jacob and Brecken. Also survived by his brother-in-law Peter Riches (Joan) of High River, AB. Loved by many other Family members, as well as friends in the community and his Church. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Christ Church Bells Corners on Monday June 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation greatly appreciated.
