AIM - The aim of the Newsletter is to present practical Communications and Electronics articles, provide a forum where topics of interest concerning Branch matters can be presented and discussed, and foster esprit de corps.
CONTRIBUTIONS, SUGGESTIONS, and CRITICISMS are encouraged. They must be submitted in an electronic format and include a title and the name, unit, position and phone number of the author. Articles may be edited for length and/or content and published in the official language(s) of submissions unless they are of a policy nature in which case they must be submitted in both official languages. Submission prior to the announced deadline is encouraged to avoid production delays.
TEXT - Submit your text in an electronic format (e-mail or 3 1/2 diskette) using the departmental standard software product (MS Word). Spell check before submission and use a preferred line spacing of 1.5 to facilitate editing. Indicate the desired placement of images and include photo captions as required.
IMAGERY - Imageries of all sorts are worth a thousand words, so do not hesitate to use them. We are particularly fond of photos. Please ensure that the appropriate caption and photo credit is written on the back of each; they will be returned to the originator upon request. Electronic photos must have a 300 DPI resolution for best results. Graphical formats supported include MS Windows, MS Word, bmp, gif, jpg, eps, and others except Harvard Graphics.
