RETIREMENT - Master Corporal Nancy Courtemanche 764 Comm Sqn 00329

1. MCpl Nancy Courtemanche is retiring from the CF on 3 Mar 09 after 20 years of loyal and dedicated service in the Communications and Electronic Branch. MCpl Courtemanche distinguished career includes postings to 764 COMMSQN Ottawa, 742 COMMSQN Edmonton, CFNOC Leitrim, and finally returned to 764 COMMSQN Ottawa to finish her career. She was also deployed on a six-month tour to Valika Kladusa (Bosnia).

2. Nancy and her family; Robin, Emmanuelle, and Simon, will be staying in the Ottawa area where she will be pursuing a second career within PWGSC working as a COMSEC Custodian.

3. A retirement luncheon is planned for Nancy on Friday 27 Feb 09 at the Rideau Canal Junior Ranks Mess, 4 Queen Elizabeth Dr, Ottawa, in the Apollo Lounge starting at 1130 hrs. The cost of the luncheon is 20 dollars, which includes the meal and a contribution towards a gift. Anyone wishing to attend is requested to confirm his/her attendance prior to Monday 23 Feb 09. Menu for the luncheon will be lasagna w/garlic bread, Caesar salad, desert, and coffee/tea.
