C & E Association

The Communications and Electronics Association was a product of unification and the formation of the Communications and Electronics Branch of the Canadian Forces. It has existed in one form or another for over 20 years with the purpose of providing a focal point to ensure the Communications and Electronics Branch meets its collective obligation to the Canadian Forces and the interests of the general membership of the Communications and Electronics Branch Association.

Who comprises the membership of the Association? All regular and reserve members, officers and non-commissioned-members, whose prime function is to provide communications support to the Canadian Forces command and control information system, are members of the Communications and Electronics Branch. Membership in the National level Association, in turn, automatically consists of all Communications and Electronics Branch members, currently serving and retired. In addition, membership in the Communications and Electronics Association may be granted to friends of the Branch.

The Association does a number of things; significantly, it encourages a better understanding of Canadian Forces Communications and Electronics matters in the general public, promotes Communications and Electronics interests throughout the Canadian Forces, provides liaison with local Information Technology industry, and it provides a very important social link between current and former Canadian Forces Communications and Electronics service personnel who can benefit from contact with each other.
